Now you don’t have to use speakers in old fashioned way. Recently Clearview audio has launched its most astonishing speakers named CLEARVIEW CLIO. According to spectator this was the most eye catching product in CES 2014. This speaker consists of a 1mm thin glass panel mounted upon a base which has complete electronic circuit housed in it. This speaker has both wireless & wire type facility so that it can be backward compatible. This speaker uses a 1 mm thin glass made of acryclic which helps in creating sound.
There have been a lot of speakers launched before claimed as transparent speakers. But they usually have regular speakers & tweeters attached into a transparent body like glass or any other transparent material. Unlike other speakers it has a visible base but the original sound creating parts are made up off the acryclic glass. The glass may be only 1mm, but the base unit is 8.3cm deep and 32cm wide and 24cm tall. It has 24-watt clio Bluetooth speaker & a subwoofer below the base.
Basically the cillo uses piezoelectric actuator in its base which stimulate two thin membranes (one per channel) running along both sides of its transparent curved transducer. This causes the transducer to move back and forth in a “piston-like” fashion, producing 360-degree stereo sound that is emitted from both the front and rear faces of the 1 mm-thick acrylic material. We can say its design is so compatible that anybody can keep anywhere in the room & less noisy.
As it is complete wireless so anybody can use it anywhere without any wired extension through Bluetooth. It has also 35mm jack connectivity if anybody wants to use through wire. It supports any device having Bluetooth facility more than v2.1.
