Nokia will start selling its much awaited Nokia X family in India from 15th March. According to sources Nokia will launch the X family in India on 10th march where the price will be announced officially, however the phone will be available for sell from 15th March. Yesterday Nokia X was listed in some Indian online retail sites along with the price tag of Rs 8,500 but latter that was removed.
Soon after its lunch at MWC 2014 Barcelona the phone has created lots of buzz in the technology sphere as it is the first ever Nokia phone to run on Android. Actually the phone doesn’t run on full version of Android rather than a trimmed version of Android jelly bean OS.The Nokia X family comes in X, X+ and XL dual SIM variant. All three devices run on Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz. Both the Nokia X and XL has an internal memory of 4GB.
The Nokia X comes with a 512 MB of RAM, 4 inch ISPLCD display and a 3MP rear camera. Whereas the X+ is packed with 768MB of RAM and with a microSD slot, otherwise there is no such big difference between X and X+. Nokia XL is quite similar to X and XL except its 5-inch LCD screen and a 5-MP of rear and a 2-MP of front camera. The Nokia x family comes in Black, Green, Cyan, Yellow, Red, and White color variants.
Nokia X and X+ are powered by a 1500mAh battery. Nokia is calming around 13hr of talk time on 3G and 17hr of standby time. The connectivity option includes 3G cellular data, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n and Bluetooth v3.0. The users has access to the features of windows OS like Skype, One Drive, Outlook as well as the Android Apps. As the device doesn’t run fully on Android OS it didn’t come with inbuilt Google Play Store however you can download all the android Apps from a third party app store.
The price is yet to be announced officially on 10th march in media event in India. Looking at The international price of Nokia X, X+ and XL which are 89, 99, 109 euros respectively. So it’s obvious the price of X family will be below 10,000. The device may be priced at 8,500 as the rumor suggest.
